Beware of Online Scams

Important Information About Scams & Online Fraud

Impersonation

In recent times we have learned that scammers have taken to our name as a source for their deception. We have tried endlessly to put a stop to this misconduct but with little luck given the anonymity of these offenders. Our technical and legal teams are still working overtime to eradicate the problem and we shall be successful.

We have determined that we have been targeted by these scammers due to the level of anonymity we provide and high-profile clientele we maintain and we would like to this medium to deeply apologize to our customers, potential customers and investors for any misunderstanding or mistrust this may have caused or any bad image reflected on our institution.

Identifing a Scam

First, you never can be too sure of what's real and what's not on the internet. For one we are sure that these scammers have advanced so far as to perfectly fake original documentation to confuse the victim. This has become a problem in the real world because people are unable to tell which documents are real from which are fake, causing an extra amount scrutiny and mistrust to the original entity.

Because of this we have come up with a Code System as a measure of added security. This works such that should an individual be referred to us from any organization, they will be referred with a 6-Digit SECP Code which we will have to verify upon contact before proceeding further. We have several other added measures of extra security to ensure you are dealing with the real Kuhns Private Bank not a fake or a clone.

In the case of the crime victim restitutions or other contract payment that have been paid through our bank, you can retrieve your 6-Digit SECP Code from your restitution attorney or fund manager and submit it to us for verification. The scammer will never be able to provide you with a valid SECP Code. If upon request of your SECP Code the attorney or manager provides an invalid code, you can assume you are being scammed and report it. Click Here to report a scam.

Website Security

To be sure you are on our real authentic website: kuhnspb.com when you visit, look for the Security Lock in your address bar. This represents our secure site, if you cannot find the lock, you are probably visiting a clone. Be aware that the security lock does not display properly on Apple Safari Browser. Be sure to visit using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to experience in best quality.

Spam Emails

Our customers have complained severally and reported received spam emails asking for thier passwords, pin numbers and other account details for verification purposes. Kuhns Private Bank will NEVER request such information from you via unsecured email. You will be contacted personally by your private banker or an online services representative.
